Wilson County 911's main office phone line has been unable to receive inbound calls since Friday, Sept. 25, cutting off a key non-emergency contact number for Mt. Juliet-area residents.
The agency posted on its Facebook page that the line at (615) 449-7155 was having trouble receiving calls. The cause of the outage has not been disclosed.
Emergency 911 service appears unaffected.
The Facebook post addressed only the main office line. The agency's dispatch center answered 4,412 calls in August 2026 with an average answer time of 2.09 seconds, according to Wilson County 911's published analytics.
Residents who need to reach the office for geographic information system (GIS) issues, such as addressing or plat questions, can call an alternate number at (615) 330-2409. The agency did not say whether that line also handles other non-emergency administrative calls.
The GIS and addressing office stays busy. In July alone, Wilson County 911 Director Karen Moore reported the office signed 23 plats, assigned 62 new addresses, logged 278 new subdivision addresses, mapped 340 new address points and added 3 new street centerlines, according to board meeting minutes. The office is located at 1611 West Main St. in Lebanon.
The agency said it would provide updates as more information becomes available. A follow-up post appeared on Wilson County 911's news feed Saturday, Sept. 26, but its content was not accessible as of publication.
It is unclear whether the outage has been resolved as of Monday, Sept. 28. Residents can check for updates on the agency's Facebook page or at wilson911.org.
